The Pink Orange

The children and staff at Kelsale CEVC Primary school composed and performed their very own song for Christmas this year which we shared via our website

I'll find a way to make you smile this Christmas

Our song raised £500 for The Pink Orange charity.  A new initiative that is offering a unique service for Suffolk.  Quite simply, they pack and distribute free ingredient kits to households that need it.  Their free ingredient kits provide all of the ingredients needed to prepare and cook two household meals together from scratch each week.

This charity provides a vital life line for many local families and especially during the past year when more families have found themselves in challenging circumstances.

St. Elizabeth Hospice

Kelsale CEVCP School took part in the 2019 School's Accumulator Challenge where groups of children took £30 and decided how they would take this money and raise more for St. Elizabeth Hospice.  The chdilren arranged a variety of events, including movie nights, fete games and cake sales.

A group of girls from Classes 5 and 6 became aware of the plight of Orangutans and gorillas in the wild, due to habitat lose and decided to hold a cake sale in the playgound after school.
