Kelsale is a small primary school with a big heart, where everyone strives to achieve their best.   We work together closely as a team with our families to ensure our children are challenged academically and supported in nurturing environment where they feel safe and secure, ready and motivated to explore their learning activities and opportunities.

We are an inclusive school who welcome and celebrate the individuality of all our children.  Everyone is welcome.   We have approximately 165 children on roll ranging from 4 – 11 years old.

We are a voluntary controlled church school, working closely with our local parish, local community and with the diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

We are very proud of our Christian foundations we teach and follow the Christian values through our collective worship and participation is local and wider community projects.

We aim for every child to meet their full potential every year and are extremely proud of the progress and attainment of all our children.    Following our last statutory reported data we received a letter of commendation from the Minister of State for School Standards on our excellent end of Key Stage 2 maths results which placed us in the top 2 percent of primary schools in the country.

We have an experienced staffing team, who are passionate about education and learning.  They continually strive to build on their expertise and develop their own learning, to ensure we offer our children the most up to date and effective learning experiences.
