We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and are fully charged for another term of learning.

This term we have a Space theme.  If you have any exciting toys or books that may enhance our knowledge of this - please bring them in (with parents permission of course) 

We are also going to be looking more closely at the geographical features of Kelsale and comparing our village with a large town.

Furthermore we will look at significant people in history and learn about how and why they are remembered.

Finally we will be crusading on with our Phonics and developing a reading fluency that will help unlock the greatest stories ever written - is that not the best lifelong pleasure?

Home Reading books:

If you have given permission via Mrs Mansell, our new Little Wandle books will now be sent home for home reading.

We will send them home on a Monday. They will be changed the following Monday. They MUST be in school EVERY DAY for reading groups.

(Due to their expense, any books not returned or damaged will incur a £3.50 fine)

All Venus children will receive a Purple Mash login if they havent already got one.  We will look at this in class but feel free to have a go at logging in at home and exploring the website!
