Home Reading books:
If you have given permission via Mrs Mansell, our new Little Wandle books will now be sent home for home reading.
We will send them home on a Monday. They will be changed the following Monday. They MUST be in school EVERY DAY for reading groups.
(Due to their expense, any books not returned or damaged will incur a £3.50 fine)

Welcome to Venus Class with Mrs Ellis and Mrs Francome!
Welcome back to school and the Summer Term in Venus class.
We are excited to welcome you back for our last term together in Year 1!
This term we will be continuing our learning and routines. We will continue our exciting new Phonics programme, Little Wandle. In English, we will be working on extending our sentence writing using adjectives and plurals and using our sounds to blend for spelling.
In Maths, our focus is on number - multiplication and exploring time and money.
