Our school vision
Together, we believe, we learn, laugh and shine.
Together: We are an inclusive school, where everyone is welcome as Jesus welcomed all. We work closely; children, parents, teachers, staff and governors to support our children in becoming the best they can be.
We believe that everyone is made in the image of God and therefore has value and worth. Therefore, we believe in working together, being respectful and compassionate towards each other, and as we do we achieve our very best.
Learn: together we learn how to be an awesome learner (Kelsale's 5 C's), learn new things, build and develop on things we know already and encourage each other to achieve our best and celebrate our successes, inspired by our new our curriculum.
Laugh: We believe that God knows us and is with us wherever we go. Therefore we feel safe, secure and valued in our school and we can: have fun in our learning activities, feel confident to join in with activities and are willing to take a risk and have a go.
Shine: we are proud of and celebrate our achievements together. We always persevere and try our very best.

Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.
‘Those who are wise’ - In wisdom we learn to know ourselves: to know who we are in God’s eyes and who we want to be. We learn to use the expertise around us so we can be active learners in exploring the world further. We believe that every child can achieve this.
‘will shine like the brightness of the heavens’ - We use this wisdom about ourselves and others to ‘shine’ brightly as leaders, using our Christian values to shape our choices and to make positive contributions to society. We believe that every child can make an impact in our society and, in Jesus’ words, be the light of the world.
‘and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever.’ – through learning and laughing together, and shaped by Christian values, we believe that our children can encourage and lead themselves and others to be the best human beings they can be; creating a positive legacy which will last forever.
