Outdoor Learning At Kelsale
Wild East and Kelsale making a difference for nature
Kelsale is going to help Wild East on our mission to create more wild spaces for nature and us!
Education Lead, Kate, visited an assembly last week to generate excitement about our project and get the whole school buzzing about helping wildlife AND winning some great prizes!
All children in Year 3 will be getting involved in the project in school and we look forward to sharing information and pictures on our website.
To find out more about Wild East click here https://www.wildeast.co.uk/ You can also get involved in the project at home:
Go to our website wildeast.co.uk and pledge your 20% to our Map of Dreams. It doesn’t matter whether you have a huge garden or a windowsill, we want to create more corridors of wild spaces for nature across the East.
We are lucky enough to have Mr Skeggs and Mrs Preece plan, organise and crete outdoor learning opportunities for us at Kelsale.
We introduced Outdoor learning afternoons, for all children, to our curriculum last year. These sessions were very popular with our learners and gave everyone a chance to try something new. We will continue to provide outdoor learning afternoons for all this academic year. We are also delighted to have been chosen to take part in the Wild East Project this term.
